Private and small-group lessons in crochet, knitting, and inkle & tablet weaving — for children and adults, beginners through experienced makers.

Three crafts, one hour at a time
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Crochet
From your first chain to reading patterns. Students can follow along afterward with my step-by-step stitch videos.
Knitting
Cast on, knit, purl and bind off — then ribbing, shaping and a first project you'll actually wear.
Inkle & Tablet Weaving
Weave patterned bands for belts, bag and guitar straps, bookmarks and trims — an ancient craft that fits on a tabletop.

Ages 8–17 · private lesson
$40 / hour
10-lesson package: $360 (save $40)
Adults
Private lesson · all levels
$55 / hour

Small groups
2–4 friends or family
$30 / person
Parent & child, grandparent & grandchild, or friends
Beginner materials fee
one time, at your first lesson — $25 for knitting or crochet, $30 for inkle or tablet weaving (studio looms on loan during lessons).
What's included
Tools to keep, practice yarn for week one, and your choice of an easy first pattern — a scarf or a spa cloth. Yarn for your project can be bought locally or from me when I have what you'd like.
Gift Certificates
Give someone a new skill — gift certificates for a single lesson or a 10-lesson package. Afterschool, school vacation times available.
Under 18? A parent or guardian must accompany students under 18 and is welcome to relax with complimentary coffee, tea and WiFi.
